Cubic Structures

Clusters of atoms with simple cubic (sc), face centered cubic (fcc)and body centered cubic (bcc) structures are shown here. The shape of the clusters does not immediately reveal the structural type.

Explore the structures! View them from the 111, 110 and 100 directions. If properly configured, your VRML viewer will offer you these options, usually when "right clicking" on the picture.
